Lucky Dog Pet Resort — A Resort Experience because Your Dog Deserves the Best.
After a day of play at The Lucky Dog Lodge, dogs need their own space to rest and relax. Our lucky dog boarding kennel offers temperature-controlled large indoor/outdoor bungalows as well as cozy indoor cottages. Each space includes an elevated bed and blanket. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness; each area is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected every day! Come by any day of the week for a guided tour of our facility and see why lucky dogs boarding with us have such a great time during their stay and play!
At The Lucky Dog Lodge, we encourage customers to bring their own food, as maintaining a consistent diet for your dog helps reduce stress levels and prevents upset tummies. However, if you prefer, we also provide food for your furry friend. If your dog requires medications, a highly trained staff member at our lucky dog boarding kennel will administer them at no extra charge.
We provide fresh blankets and elevated beds for all of our canine guests at Lucky Dogs Boarding. If you would prefer to bring your own bedding or have a special blanket from home, feel free to bring that with you; however, please note that personal items may get soiled or damaged during your dog's stay and play.
To ensure your pet's safety and health, we require all dogs to be current on their Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella vaccinations. We suggest checking with your vet prior to your dog's stay to see if there are any additional vaccinations they recommend before boarding at The Lucky Dog Lodge.
Here at Lucky Dog, we strive to make your dog's visit to our lucky dog boarding kennel as enjoyable as possible. However, despite our best efforts, boarding can be stressful for some dogs. This is particularly true for dogs that have never boarded before (or haven’t boarded often), older dogs, dogs that are highly sensitive to change, and dogs with health issues.
During their stay at our lucky dogs boarding facility, your dog may exhibit behavior that is not typical for them, such as excessive barking, changes in appetite, or even urinating or defecating in their kennel. While we take great pride in the cleanliness of The Lucky Dog Lodge, it's possible that your dog may get dirty during their stay. We recommend our bathing services! Just let us know if you would like us to bathe your dog the day you return from your trip.
It's also important to note that during your dog’s stay at our lucky dog stay and play facility, they may come into contact with natural insurgents, such as Canine Cough, even if they are current on their bordatella vaccination. Canine Cough is a highly contagious virus, quite similar to the common cold in humans.
For your peace of mind, we record all food intake for your dog at each meal to monitor any changes in their diet. Additionally, we conduct a daily wellness check on your dog. By spending this extra time with your dog, we can detect any changes in their health, such as hot spots that may be hiding beneath their fur or in areas we wouldn’t usually see. We have found these procedures to be extremely effective in maintaining the health and comfort of your dog.
